I just checked Sam’s club. They have whole boneless pork loins for $2.28 a pound. As others have said cut your own chops any way you like them. I cut my own pork chops and ribeyes. You get what you want and save a little too.

I have a meat store (Cattleman's) where I buy the 8-10lbs. bone-in pork loin and have them cut to 2" thick.

I've got 99 problems, but finding pork chops in Iowa ain't one.

More hogs than people! Great "problem" to have!

This isn’t pork chops related. Your avatar is hilarious, not sure how I missed it. Thank you for a great sense of humor

Thanks from a fellow KBQ owner. As funny goes, my wife still laughs at my humor after 25 years, so that's a win in my book.

No problem here in MN, but there are a lot of hogs here and in the States around us.

This reminds me. I need to make some pork rind crusted chops and drop the babies in the deep fryer. That is some good stuff.

I haven't had any problem around here, but we are a big pork producing state.

No problems here in Pittsburgh. Whole Foods and Giant Eagle both carry bone-in chops of pretty good thickness. For boneless chops I buy a whole loin from Costco and cut my own.

No issue in Western Massachusetts. Whole Foods has some nice thick boneless cuts. Big Y, local to the northeast also has a nice selection. I'm sure the online suppliers could provide a nice selection if you can't get them locally.

To me, pork chops just ain't pork chops unless there's a bone, something about gnawing around the bone I guess. Slices cut from the boneless loin are certainly cheaper and good enough, but Publix has thick cut bone in chops. They're 1.25 - 1.5 inches thick and we do them basically reverse seared on the gasser.

Like others have said, certainly no issue down here. In fact, this is in this week's ad for our local HEB.

This thread inspired me. It’s been a while since I had a big fat chop. Prepared according to Chef John’s sticky garlic pork chops.

Not a problem down here in the land of sun, fun, and hurricanes.
