    Found a 1.5 lb. pork belly in the 'manager's special section' today. Gonna have to look these recipes/links over to figure out and decide how I'm gonna smoke and serve it.

    1.5 lb. is not that much. What about using it in a BBQ pork fried rice recipe for a large group....??

      I have 2# slacking out as we speak. I think I will do half traditional for banh mi and the other half burnt ends as noted above.

      I've done a few pork bellies in my time... Did one that I treated like brisket, with a hit of cinnamon in the rub for giggles, and it was very good.

      Without the smoker, I made pork belly adobo, which was absolutely amazing. The recipe I used was from Modernist Cuisine at Home, but I found this one, which looks good.
      Filipino Adobo is a delicious medley of salty and savory you'll love with steamed rice. It's easy to make, hearty, tasty, and sure to be a dinner favorite!

        I am making all kinds of pork belly this weekend. Probably my favorite cut right now. These turned out well for some shore lunch.

          How long did that take and cooked at what grill temp? I have a piece of belly I want to do like that.

          It took about 4-5 hours. Probably averaged about 300 F, I would think. Jfrosty27
