Capers, my mom would use them and would make me cringe.

I used to not like capers but recently I've come around to them.

I'll take anything on the list on my pizza, except pineapple. I like pineapple, but in it's place, and its place is not on a pizza. If you put pineapple on a crust, it ceases to be a pizza. Not sure what it is, but it's not a pizza. I will make my daughter in law a gluten free crust, but if she wants that abomination on what she eats, she has to put it there.

This is useful information. If I order a pizza and don't want to share, I just cover it with anchovies and pineapple.

Made this tonight and remembered this discussion. Luau Pizza: BBQ Sauce, shredded mozzarella, pineapple, bacon, red onion and banana peppers, with a squiggle of Sriracha sauce on top.

          I’d eat that, if offered!

Pineapple indeed! I'd chow down on that one, baby!

I think that the typical canned black olives are an abomination that don't belong anywhere. That being said, I do like good olives on a pizza. Just made a sausage, onion and kalamata olive pizza, and it was pretty good. I would say though, that for a Neopolitan style crust that the fewer toppings the better.

            Kalamata olives are the best!

Can't hack cooked green bell peppers no matter how they're cooked. Love anchovies, so I am an outlier on that.

No anchovies, Yuck too salty. Love a garbage pie minus the chovies. Also love a a Pineapple with Bacon or Canadian Bacon. Mmmmmm Mmmmmm.

A lot of it is how they prep the toppings. The anchovies most places use are tiny and end up just being salty and fishy chips, esp on a NY pie that bakes for 10 minutes. Pineapple chunks out of the can are too big and soak up too much sugar. As I said here earlier, i've had thinly sliced mango and it's quite nice. Peppers usually need to be sautéed a bit to change their flavor (esp green peppers).

Bogy - some misguided people claim it grows on trees.

Around here at least, what i see when it's added to pizza are the small wedges that are from the true source... cans

RonB by golly it does. Mine comes in these brown, kinda prickly containers with green things coming out of the top.

Bogy - yeah - that's the bad stuff. It's not good until it's in the can with a ton of sugar.

Just a PSA: Those of you who say pineapple does not belong on pizza are WRONG.
              That is all.
