The only thing I absolutely refuse to eat on pizza is anchovies. Always reminds me of the canned sardines my grandpa ate when I was a kid. It’s been 25 years since I smelled that can of fish, but I can still "smell" it in my mind…and it makes me gag a little.

Canadian bacon is a no for me (even though my sardine loving grandpa was from Canada).

Pineapple is a win. One of the pizzas my wife and I like is pepperoni, jalapeño, and pineapple - or as some call it "meat, heat, and sweet."

Another staple is sausage and red onion. We recently added pepperoni to it and we’re happy.

The kids eat cheese…both our boys loved pepperoni pizza until they were about 5 years old. Makes no sense to me, but I know they’ll come around.

My one son is not a pepperoni pizza fan either, I don't understand.

I love lots of different toppings and combinations, but no olives or anchovies, please. A couple of the more unusual I like are:

Chicken, barbecue sauce, tomatoes and onions: Something about the way the sweet sauce blends with the veggies is wonderful.

Broccoli and feta cheese: This was often ordered as part of our work pizza days, and I turned up my nose at it for months. Turns out it’s a great combination!

No fish, thank you very much... Favorite was the Mad Mike's (basic garbage pizza with everything) from Shakey's Pizza in San Angelo, TX. It was sold while I was away in the USAF (pretty sure I kept them in business), and the new owner changed the menu/recipes, so it immediately went out of business.. I cried real tears when I came home on leave to find it gone.

Not an anchovy fan. But, anybody have some love for shrimp? One of my favorites--though I haven't had it in a while--is shrimp, black olive, and pepperoni.

Can't help but wonder if the anti anchovy folk ever use Worcestershire sauce?

I do, love it, but I don't drink half a cup at a time . Actually, I'm not anti-anchovy--love them in a Caesar's salad, just don't care for them on pizza.

This thin crust Digeorno ain't good. Even with the extra pepperoni. That's what I get for 86'ing the Tony's.
