The smell of Worcestershire sauce being put on burgers and dripping on the coals just smells delicious and takes me back to my childhood.

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Maverick 732, DigiQ, and too much other stuff to mention.
When you’re cooking, and the day is hot, and very still. And then a very slight movement of air brings just the faintest wisp of bbq to you.

Kamado Joe Big Joe III, Recteq 1250, PKGO, Jumbo Joe and PBC. Weber kettle @ the hunting camp.
My favorite smell, my absolutely favorite smell is a crisp autumn morning, pecan and cherry on the cooker with a pork shoulder getting jiggy with it. The cherry on top is when the Auburn Radio Network is broadcasting. Perfect smells perfect setting. Ahhhhhh, good times.

Prepping the grills whilst taking in the fresh-cut lawn smell, meaning all I have to do is sit and think, or just sit once the foods are on the coals. The lawn smell is the smell of the work being done.

* - Favorite Beer - the cold one in my hand (craft beers of all flavors; haven't had a blue yummy in over 6 years) my tastes change with the season so it is difficult to name just a couple. However, I will occasionally have a vanilla porter float in the summer (Empyrean Vanilla Porter w/a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream) as I usually drink stouts & porters in the colder months, pale ales & IPAs in the warmer months. I have to add Not Your Father's Root Beer to beers I use for floats.
* - Booze - I don't really have a favorite, but lean towards single malt Scotch & Irish whiskey
* - Wines - Reds: mainly the heavy stuff mixed in with the occasional pinot noir ( I have yet to meet a malbec I didn't like); Whites: German & Nebraska (hey, I have to support the home team)
* - Favorite Spice outlets - Volcanic Peppers - Bellevue, NE
* - Current butchers: Cure - Ft. Calhoun
Apricot or peach wood smoking pork products. The neighbors' grill when they are the ones grilling burgers. When I am grilling burgers, I am too immersed in the smoke to enjoy it.
Does Gulf still make charcoal lighter fluid? I loved the smell of that stuff when I was a kid.
