    Grilled, not smoked

    But tasty anyway.
    A couple of salmon fillets, oiled and seasoned with salt, lemon pepper and garlic powder. Fresh asparagus oiled and seasoned with salt and pepper. 3 minutes on a side on my Smokey Joe (trusty 22" Kettle doing duty as a Joe stand) and served with lemon zest/juice on the salmon and lime butter compound (with garlic, salt & pepper) on the asparagus. Good wife said the lime butter was tasty on the salmon as well.

    I'm planning on salmon for Friday. Need to dry brine first. Debating on reverse sear vs smoking. Wife wants it smoked, so smoked it is.
