I just got an email from Costco on the sale items currently available. Kirkland brand pellets are on sale for $20.99/40 lbs. that’s wayyyy up from the $12.99 I paid for a couple bags last fall. Shocking. I am truly stunned. I’m just about done with what I bought back then too. Ugh. I wonder what Cookin Pellets are going for now? 😵💫😳

Bear Mountain The 'Chef Store' site in Washington have them for $9.59 for 20lb bag. The're the only ones I've used since my Silverbac was new. They don't seem to pick up moisture as I've left the hopper partially full for a whole rainy PNW winter, although the smoker is covered. Also, not too much residual ash, I can go a number of cooks before vacuuming out.
