If you ever see Milton’s (they are gluten free) give them a try. Their regular cracker, one of the best dang crackers!! Costco sells them in big bags, everywhere else I’ve seen them they come in a smaller bag.

But give them a try! I highly recommend them!

My wife likes these. I will say gluten free crackers and pretzels are uniquely crispy, with the pretzels being better than regular IMO.

Huskee - the GF pretzels are so good! I forgot what brand they are, but man! You are right - so crisp, and light. And the flavor is great!

Now…I just wish I could find a fresh GF pretzel

Big Wheat Thins. I used to like Triscuits, but the last time I bought them I thought the tasted like salty shredded wheat. Sometimes we get saltines. For charcuterie boards I get whatever fancy mixed cracker thing that looks good, nobody ever finishes them anyhow.

I seen a meme recently saying "Triscuits, for when you feel like eating wicker furniture", and I had a good laugh at that one.

Wheat Thins remind me of my grandma who used to snack on them and we’d share that time together. I do enjoy them.

snowswamp I love those, and I always think of Sandy Duncan.

Ritz for peanut butter. Club for quick cheese (usually Jarlsberg) snacks. Carr’s water crackers for more floofy charcuterie type things.

I can count on one hand the number of boxes of crackers I've bought in the last 2 decades. They are not my thing. Now chips I can relate too.

Oyster crackers as an appetizer with hot sauce drizzle. Followed by a three way or four way or even a five way with optional cheese coney w/mustard as a backup. Finish w/York peppermint patty washed down with ice cold fountain cola. Ohh yeah!!

I wasn’t going to post because my favorites are so basic but I use them over any others:
Saltines, Oyster Crackers, and Triscuits. No need for others designed and created in a food lab.

Triscuits and Water Crackers have always worked for me.

And some of the Triscuits have flavors now too and they are not that bad.

I dunno. If you aren't liking the store crackers, maybe an easy artisan recipe is the way to go.

Carolyn I've seen recipes for cheez-its. Never tried them though.

Mike981 Looks like our collective taste in crackers is somewhat pedestrian. 🤣

I am tempted to try out a couple artisan recipes to see how they turn out. Looks kind of easy to do.

My favorite 'cracker' would be tortilla chips. I especially like the flavored ones from 'Taco Works', located in California. They're not very sturdy, and a dense guacamole breaks them.
But if I'm into dipping, I like Triscuits. Very sturdy, and they can dig into a block of 'Jezebel Sauce', or an impromptu dip of cream cheese with a blob of gochujang on top.

SmokingPat this!!! Taco Works is the only brand in this house. Sometimes, though, we do get a batch of “extra seasoned”!

Since we got on the subject of tortilla chips, there is no better tortilla chips I’ve found than Julio’s. These are the only tortilla chips I’ve found that taste so good you don’t need a dip or salsa to eat them with. If you can find them, highly recommended! They’re made in Texas but I don’t know how far they’re distributed.
