I don't know if this has been talked about before or not, so I apologize if this is a repeat.
The makers of Dukes mayo has been bought out by a private equity firm. If history has taught us anything, it's that private equity firms and quality products don't mix well together. I don't imagine it will be long before The new Dukes mayo doesn't taste like the old one anymore.
Weber combined with Blackstone, for now they are doing ok... but I think Blackstone has too many self competing SKUS. Grilla as a company who knows how they are doing, but AOUT stock has absolutely plummeted since the purchase of Grilla and a couple other brands so I expect shenanigans in the near future for some if not all of their brands.
I hate to hear this. Sure hope that it does not change the brand. In regard to Weber, I think that in very recent years that Weber has gotten stronger. I am thinking that the merger will make the Blackstone brand stronger.
In reality Sauer was already owned by Falfurrias, a private investor firm, since 2019. My daughter Sarah was one of the c-suite recruiters hired to fill the senior executive positions. Back then I was worried about what would happen to my life long favorite mayonnaise, but luckily Falfurrias had enough sense not to mess with success.
Well the worst thing that ever happened to the company I work for is the went from private to public, then bought out another private company from NY and merged them.

I may be forced to make my own or even go so far and take the easy way out by adding lemon juice or vinegar to Hellman's. Or, I could just say to heck with it and convert Hellman's or Kraft to chipotle mayo.
