Meatloaf! My wife is not a fan of meatloaf, so I also get the leftovers to myself. She likes steak and burgers as much as I do, so there's no need to wait for a bachelor night on those.

Paradise by the dash board lights!

The thickest, fattiest, Ribeye that I can get my grubby little paws on. Cooked on the rare side of medium rare. No sides. I’m not wasting critical stomach space on sides!!!! At most, sautéed mushrooms and blue cheese or Gorgonzola crumbles melted on top. If I can get a really good one, I may substitute spinalis for the whole ribeye, but that’s only if I can find phenomenal cap!

Beef is the answer with a nice adult beverage of your choice.

Steak just over Moo, Taty w/SC, brussels sprouts halved n browned crisp on the flat in the bacon drippin's left from the pound I originally started with. Then if there is room, a crisp wedge salad. Beginning, middle n ending w/Bud ana shot or two of the Colonel Taylor BP.

Last night I ate a few bottles of beer and played video games all night on the good tv.

Johnny Booth yeah I have a hard time. Currently working through the Final Fantasy Rebirth game and have had to pass up on multiple parts of the game because I no longer have the coordination. I'm hoping turn based RPGs make a come back some day, love the story AND strategy without the reliance of twitch button presses.

HawkerXP I've always preferred the Battlefield series for online stuff, I suck at those games but enjoy playing support roles. Support doesn't play as well or mean as much in the CoD online scene

For me it's usually shrimp and cheese grits.
I too feel your pain of having to cook for picky eaters, and this is a dish that only I will eat, so It's a go to when it's just me.
Pretty easy to put together, and damn tasty too

Absolutely love me some shrimp and grits! Fortunately, my wife and kids do too, so I get to make it regularly enough.

For me it would be something simple like a baked potato loaded up. Or maybe fish of some sort. My husband likes all meat, but isn’t a huge fan of fish, except for white fish like halibut and cod.

That steak everyone keeps talking about sounds delish though. But I’d be in trouble if I did that for me while he was gone.

              Update:

Decided to stick with steak night and remembered I had an American wagyu strip in the freezer. Pulled it out last night to defrost and salted it to dry brine overnight. Sides are still TBD

I generally will do either super-spicy Korean chicken on the grill (wife cannot stand spicy) or super-spicy salmon stove-top stir-fry (wife hates seafood).

King crab leg boil with shrimp and andouille. Add a couple potatoes, some corn on the cob. Spread out some newspaper. Make shrimp and crab cakes the next morning for breakfast

                  The final bachelor plate

Wagyu strip - reverse seared in oven and seared in cast iron skiller
Hash browns/Rosti cooked in a mini cast iron skillet
                  Garlic green beans
