this week….I justify having a few slices of about 600 calories for dessert…..you know that Kentucky chocolate pecan pie..

green chile chicken enchiladas Wednesday that just got finished tonight.
bolognese friday night dinner - that absolutely got crushed by the man child.
tonight was the finisher for the enchiladas….will also be the finisher for my Kentucky Chocolate Pecan Pie (all 600-700 calories of the slice I’ll crush!)
tomorrow - I think I’m going to make my pie crusts again and finish the Turkey dinner leftovers as a Pot Pie. Pretty excited about that as well!

all this balanced with some workouts and bike rides this week as well….in hopes that digital scale doesn’t yell at me on Monday morning

Still at it, but not a lot left. The last of the TG feast is heading for the freezer today. Congratulations on the 4000 mark.

I committed any leftover turkey to vac-seal bags and the freezer yesterday. So now I am left with all-things carbs: three (!) different kinds of stuffing, mac and cheese, corn pudding, and baby potatoes. I don't think we'll finish even most of it before it goes bad. Family went way overboard on the numbers of side dishes this year.

Congratulations on 4K! We started the weekend at my in-laws with Pasta flip Thursday for Thanksgiving supper and finished with roast chicken, augratin potatoes, salad, Brussel sprouts, salad, etc. last night. Dropped kid at Kansas City airport this am and now back home with no more left-overs as they remained in KC! Fresh food this week (I’m not a big left-over guy)!

Congrats! Just the two of us so not much by way of leftovers. We had prepped everything in advance. We did eat/drink one potfull of 'slop' made from dressing, gravy, turkey and cream of celery soup. Missus did not force year-old fruitcake on us (though for fruitcake it's GOOD).

Day after we made turkey tacos. Saturday we made Arroz con Pavo. Sunday was Chilaquiles with salsa verde, turkey salad sandwiches and the last of the pumpkin pie and we tore into the pecan pie that was never eaten on Thursday.

I am not ashamed to admit I am eating stuffing mixed with fried chicken cutlet (ran of out turkey) dusted with cayenne for breakfast.

Just saw this on social media and felt it fits here:

"Day 3 of Thanksgiving leftovers is so chaotic. Gloves just all the way off. Absolute debauchery going on. I just wrapped some macaroni and cheese & collard greens in some turkey skin and ate it like a taco."

Weekend?!? (Said in Jim Mora playoffs voice).
I finished off my daughter’s apple pie a couple days ago and her French silk pie yesterday. Finished off the 6 leftover dinner rolls too over a day or two.
I gained 5 pounds last week.

The Crawfish Cornbread Dressing and the Chorizo Cornbread went to snuff bell peppers. Some of the turkey was used to create a turkey Cubano sandwich. The carcass produced turkey bone gumbo.

I read somewhere that Shady Brook Farms turkey was on sale for 29 CENTS/pound and thought, 'We'd never be so lucky in our neck of the woods.' Ran to store for coffee on sale, and yes, there they were. Came back with one of 12 pounds or so and it's in the oven now.

Well last night we finished up all the T-Day leftovers our son sent home with us after dinner at his house. No pics because how many times do you need to see a plate of that? Anyway, it was great but we’re done with that menu for a while.

Now. Next up, Christmas ham!! šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘
