For us, it’s whenever Lisa gets home. That can be quite variable.

Typically around 7. If I work until 5 it's usually going to take an hour or 2 to make dinner. If I happened to get prep done before quitting time, I'm smoking something in the kamado, or I'm picking up food then 6 is possible.

Dinner as a family between 5 and 6.

My sisters and I were latchkey kids so dinner was whenever since my mother was divorced when I was 10 and worked afternoons and evenings generally.

Around 5:30 especially this time of year. Too much daylight left, gotta get outside and do chores.

With two boys in travel baseball dinner is at 3pm or 9pm…and often both! Days we don’t have practice (not often 🤦🏽) we shoot for 630/7.

My son and stepson played travel ball. Been there done that 👍

When it’s just the 2 of us at home, we aim for around 6:00. When we’re having company or going out, 6:30 or 7 is more typical.

                Retired, about 6:30.

5pm is preferable. I get so much better sleep if I have had a bit of time to let my food digest. I hate eating late. Past 6pm is late for me. I can’t wait for retirement 😜

I try to shoot for 6:30 or so, but it varies and could be 8:30. I’m not the only cook.😆

Generally between 7 and 9pm. If I’m working, I’m rarely home before 7 and not even ready to eat even if I am. Tonight I worked from home, so didn’t need to worry about the commute and ate around 730.
If I’m cooking Sunday night dinner, I tend to aim for 7ish. Wife would prefer 6ish but I hate eating that early and so my cooking, my rules (within reason). Kids are old enough that they are indifferent as to when we eat and probably already had 17 snacks before dinner anyway.

Usually 6:30pm or so, sometimes closer to 7pm. I work from home, so timing is usually based on when my wife gets home from work or the gym, or me from out on the bike.

These days, we basically eat just one "real" meal per day. The time varies anywhere from late lunch (1400ish) to early dinner (1730ish). Everything else is snacking/noshing through the day.

We are all over the place. If it’s a home-cooked dinner, anytime between 4-7 pm. If we go out, we eat as late as 9:00 pm. We do stay up quite late so our late night, date night dinners can digest - usually hitting the sack between 12:00 and 1:00 am.

Anomaly here: between 3-4 PM Pacific, unless we go out to a fav place that doesn’t serve the dinner menu until 4:30 or 5. Used to be a lot later when we both worked.
