As I do not celebrate this holiday as with all holidays, I enjoy seeing the planned meals for you and your family as well as the cooks. Me, I'll be doing the 2nd Memorial Cook on Sunday.. Maybe I missed the thread. Please share your meals and plans.

This year we host it for the family I have 2 racks of lamb, and 32 loin chops on deck. I will also have 2 boules of sourdough for service. Appetizers, sides, and dessert are all being brought by the different families of relatives.

I'm joining my late wife's Lebanese side of her family for Easter lunch. There will be stuffed grape leaves, raw and cooked kibbi, tzatziki, among other favorites of Lebanese fare. I am doing a pulled lamb shoulder for my contribution to what is always an amazing meal.

Elton's BBQ none of these folks have ever been to Lebanon, but they preserve the food traditions that their families brought over generations ago. In Jacksonville there is a large prominent and successful Lebanese population. The mayor here in 1987 was Lebanese, Tommy Hazouri.

Quiche Loraine this year ... fresh asparagus parmigiana, roasted, on the side. Shrimp cocktail and a bunch of pre-meal munchies. SWMBO is in charge ... so no smoke in the cards ...

The family tradition is fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, asparagus/mushroom risotto, deviled eggs, yeast rolls, and key lime pie. This has been the meal for at least 50+yrs. About 30yrs ago, mom insisted we needed to add something green, so we all pointed to the asparagus and vetoed the broccoli.
