Championship Sunday

Gonna start the afternoon with cheeseburgers and finish with shrimp jambalaya. My neighbor is making the jambalaya, and I'm making the burgers.

My husband will be at the San Francisco game this afternoon. Maybe I catch a glimpse of him in the stands. 🙄

ItsAllGoneToTheDogs I didn't even ask how much the ticket was, but he doesn't really spend much money on himself, so I can't complain. He could leave here tomorrow, and everything he owns would fit in his car.

Carolyn if he got tickets a while ago that same 400 bucks woulda netted a good seat, but good seats yesterday were going for a few grand. My wife is the same way, other than my grill and cars I don't spend much money, most of my clothes are over 20 years old from HS still lol... when I wanted stupid expensive tickets to the 9ers game up by DC the other week she was like... GO

Many here in Tampa are annoyed that there is no game here today. I work in one clinic where a fair percentage of the staff works at Raymond James stadium during games, and they are irritated, but then many of them partied themselves silly at the Gasparilla Pirate Festival yesterday. That said, there are a few going to watch, and I'm going to a friend's house to do same. I cleaned out the garage freezer yesterday, and have a corned beef purchased on sale last St. Patrick's Day that I left out last night to thaw. Is in the smoker now, I've already had the conversation with ADT when the smoke detectors went off. Got a loaf of sourdough rye from my co-op, and I will take my Reubens in for the win. Don't really care who wins the game.
