Aw man…sounds like a good recovery, though. Reminds me of a trip to Costco. PSA: ladies, don’t keep your phone in your back pocket.

and aluminum trays always get carried on a sheet tray.

Lol...More expensive than usual Costco visit..eh?... Years back in the flip phone era, my wife had a similar problem whilst we were on vacation...She said, "We gotta stop at a Sprint Store." I said, "Why?" She said, "You don't wanna know..." We went to the Sprint Store...lol

Been there done that but at least it was at home. Nothing worked to reclaim it. Had to get a new phone. For a quick trip to the bathroom, that put the P in expensive.

When I was a brand new First Year Apprentice Carpenter, I once cut up an expensive piece of material wrongly.

I was embarrassed and mortified that I could make a simple mistake like that.

The owner of the company who was very much on site said to me, " Ya know Troy, the only people who don't make mistakes, are the people who don't do anything. This cost me a whole bunch of money. Please think the process through next time before you start cutting."

The old adage, "Measure twice, cut once."

Anyway that man taught me rather than judged. I learned from that and said those same words of wisdom to my daughter many times.

She is now a manager and said to me she uses that same adage fairly often.

Paying it forward really pays off for all.
