I've made a lot of whiskey soaked plans too and some of them have even come to fruition.

The Smoked Miso wings and Sweet and Spicy Bourbon wings are still on the smoker. The smoked Habanero and Jalapeño poppers have been a huge hit as we wait on the wings.

Muddy buddies, wings with buffalo sauce and the Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan garlic sauce, mozzarella sticks, and sliders. I’m sure there will be some vegetables with dip floating around.

texastweeter Melted chocolate chips mixed with peanut butter drizzled over rice Chex and dusted with powdered sugar. There’s probably some melted butter in there too.

Ribs! I was going to make cheese steaks but would have to end up cooking for everybody during the game because kickoff is at 4:30 MT.

Well, we had planned lobster\shrimp scampi...

        What came out was:
Roasted langostino lobster tail, roasted scallops, stuffed mushrooms and mac and cheese...

Always amazed at what members cook on this forum, certainly not your typical ball game finger food. Great job!

Ribs (with Gates rub and sauce in honor of KC) and cheesesteaks. I had plans to document it all in photos...but once guests started arriving, it got a little hectic. Here are some prep shots of the ribs.. My first time ever making cheesesteaks though and they turned out great. Some with whiz, some with provolone, some with onions, some without. All good. First time I'd used my Baking Steel Griddle in quite a while, it did a great job - I'm going to have to break that out more often..

Oh and cole slaw using an adaptation of Meathead's deli slaw recipe which is always a hit. And chips and salsa and guac and carrots and hummus. Was a good party..
