What is your go-to comfort food when you are sick?

When I get really sick I just don't eat especially if its a stomach thing.
I am, however, open to the brandy idea. I could be at deaths door and brandy is the only answer, Buton was a favorite.
....and ice cream, ice cream helps everything from a cut on your finger to open heart surgery to mental anguish....

Ginger slices steamed in boiling water with lemon and honey. Great for a sore throat. The ginger will almost numb your throat, tongue.

There is a local Mexican Restaurant near by me that has the BEST Mexican style Chicken Soup. It is a very light broth with a chicken leg inside, a little zucchini, carrots, a few noodles, a few whole cloves of garlic and spiced perfectly. Cilantro, onions, rice, lime and some minced dried chilis are served on the side. Muy Delicioso!!

For colds (and more recently, 'rona) my go to is spicy asian noodles/soup... pho, ramen, hot & sour, etc.

Coming off of any kind of stomach ailment I'll start with toast and work my way up from there.
