I think I am a food recall "victim".

We had two opened jars that are under the recall, in the pantry. One large "all natural" extra crunchy, and one smooth that my wife puts in smoothies. We've not been sick, but I'll be tossing what's left anyway - both jars are about half empty.

FireMan bake a batch of brownies. Make half with THC oil and half with laxative. Then leave them in the office with a note saying "these brownies are for shits and giggles"

Hey, tamidw , I told some friends I was havin a breakfast/snack mid morning two weeks ago of peanut butter on corn chips. Around 12:30 I hear a knock on the door, with my friend standing with a full meal. She stated emphatically, no more peanut butter & corn chips. There was a thought of me depriving myself. Mmmm, partially right.

We had one jar in the Recall Zone of lot numbers, but fortunately it had not been opened. The opened jar was in the safe recall # zone. It's amazing how many people are affected by this recall.

I threw the unopened (possibly tainted) one out two days ago when the recall first came out in the press. It had apparently been on the FDA site two days before that.

We have 8 jars unopened sitting in our pantry right now that are all part of this recall. My wife had used some for some baked goods she sells. I would guess since the products are baked it would kill the salmonella???

If they hit 160 they should be safe. Cross contamination is a bigger issue.

My wife is at Costco right now trying to return the offending items and it turns out the rest of the city had the same idea. She said the line is out the door and into the parking lot of people trying to return peanut butter.

I have a vulture stomach. I can bring Taco Bell home at 2 AM, eat half of it, wake up at 1 PM with the unrefrigerated leftovers next to the bed, eat it, and nothing happens.
