Hmm, its working fine for me, it’s just a standard YouTube video. I’ll post a link here and see if that works.

Thanks Panhead John that worked.

BBQ ACCESSORIES
WOOD & PELLET PREFERENCES
SOUS VIDE
INDOOR COOKWARE
That same video has been around the block a few times. Too lazy to look but I think it’s been posted before as well.
What’s noticeably missing is Chicago’s famous contribution to the hotdog, Vienna franks 👍

I don’t remember the name but way back before I realized my mom was a terrible cook she made sauerkraut and wieners. The hotdogs she used were so cheap and had so much dye in them that they turned the sauerkraut pink.

Did you guys have IGA grocery stores where you grew up? They were the small town Indiana default grocery stores. IGA stands for "independent grocer's association." Anyway, they were known for selling giant hot dogs that had an unnatural red color to them. You could buy regular or hot. Those were more likely to show up at cookouts more so than brats...

mrteddyprincess That’s uncanny! Our only grocery store was an IGA. I remember their house made chili had so much fat in it that they would pour it in a mold then take it out once it was chilled. They were stacked in the meat case at the meat market.

And you could buy a whole boat-load in a cardboard box that would feed the family for the summer?!? I swear, those things made it onto every grill in the county...

I agree with the video about Nathan's and Hebrew National being solid wieners, but my go-to is the Costco Kirkland 1/4 pounder. All beef, great flavor, reasonable price.

PGH_RAM I’m pretty sure they are losing a nickel on each one they sell same as the rotisserie chickens but once you are there they’ve got you. I think those are the best dogs. Sadly, you can’t get kraut anymore with them 😕🔥🔥🐿️

My new go to is SRF dogs now carried our local Pavilions/Albertsons markets. I think they give Costco dogs a run for the money- well, except the price

I also think it’s fairly accurate, surprisingly. 7 minutes.
