    Smashburger tacos: corn tortilla, wheat tortilla, or either?

    Never done these. Doing them tonight. I have both corn and wheat tortillas. I love all tortillas, I’m leaning toward wheat.

        Yeah, I think so, for me anyhow. I’ll do lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickled hot peppers. The idea seems pretty adaptable to anything. It could go McDonald’s style, too. Any way a burger could go. Bacon, mushrooms, blue cheese. Anything.

        Oh!! Mosca yes!!! Get you some ground pork and season it up with a Korean flavor profile and have at it!!!!! I just found a picture of these Korean smash tacos…makes me want some!

        I haven't tried using corn tortillas, but I'm thinking that since corn tortillas don't caramelize until you get them to a really high temperature, the ground beef would be all dried out. I prefer a bit of crusty goodness on the outside so I'll stick with wheat.
