All the time! Burger rolls are a waste of money, when you're cooking for two. The English muffins taste great, hold up to the toppings and are a multi-tasker. Breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner with a full insert griddle added. A 22" Kettle with vortex, SnS and a Smokey Joe. The most recent addition is a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, 2 ThermoPops and a Thermapen MK4. A Thermoworks RFX Gateway 2 probe meat thermometer.

I make my own English muffins and really enjoy making and eating them. But IMO they work as a burger bun only if making an open-faced sandwich (only 1/2 of the muffin per burger, just as they're used in Eggs Benedict).
Using both halves of and English muffin for one burger just doesn't work for me
