Tough one to pick they all look so amazing.
I saw 4 or 5 very simple burgers I would go for, no multi layer with everything but the car door on it.
Maybe I'm just getting boring and older but some times simpler is better, some of those burgers were going on shock value not taste.
....and you shouldn't need to shower after eating a burger....
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
For some reason the Chile Piment-O Yeah burger keeps catching my eye.... I love pimento cheese on a burger! Second choice the Green Chili Smash. But to be honest, I bet all of them are great!
I'll take some pics to post when I start trying them. The question is how many will I try? My girlfriend and I might even split them so we can try more burgers. We can definitely do 2 a day if we do.
The first burger was had by my buddy from across the street. It was The BB King Burger.
What's on it?: This is the bluesiest burger you’ve ever had. Blue cheese and bacon aioli (That’s what the BB stands for here), smothered on top of a 5oz. Painted Hills grass-fed smash burger with fried onions, tomato, and lettuce. Served a la carte.
He liked it and gave it a 5/10.
Yesterday we tried the Bun Jovi.
What's on it?: Our delicious burger entails a gourmet pub bun, chipotle mayo sauce, crisp iceberg lettuce with a carnitas slow-cooked patty and melted Mexican blend cheese, topped with house made pickled red onion and Mexican crema
I gave it a 6.5/10. The best thing is the idea and I will steal it and try to make it better than they did. The gist is that you use carnitas meat and treat it like a smash burger.
Then we tried the Jalapeño Popper Burger.
What's on it?: Smoky bacon cream cheese with fried tempura jalapenos over a 1/3 pound patty resting on jalapeño vinaigrette, tossed arugula, and creamy aioli house sauce.
I don't know how she did it but she ordered the burger and they threw in a free beer and an order of fries. Not bad for $8. I grabbed a Buffalo Trace and pale ale for another $10. Meanwhile, my buddy, his wife, and their daughter's order only came with the burger. I briefly gave it a 9/10 until we figured out that the deal shouldn't have come with those extras. In the end, it still got a solid 7/10. The fried jalapeno was great but I could have used more. The fries were extremely good and I'll be back for more.
After the burger and round of drinks, we tried this collaboration between the brewery and a winery we happen to be a member of. They billed it as "where beer and wine converge" and that was an accurate description and it was very good.
That concluded our burger adventure but we stopped off at another restaurant for a margarita because it was hot and that sounded good. I'm pretty sure everyone who worked there (6 people) came out one by one to meet me. Two of them brought me a bowl of carnitas! I also met a 3 legged doy named Tray. It was a good day.

Many of these places have presumably have better burgers on the menu too. But these are $8 which is up from $6 last year and $5 before that. Obviously inflation has unfortunately bumped up the price. So I'm not going to give a super high rating to a lesser burger but I'm trying to balance the taste and value in my rating. I'm gearing up for one more burger today.
