FireMan it doesn't get much better than praise from a kid who is thankful for her uncle's smash burgers! Her good day = your good day!

In answer to jfmorris ‘ question of smash burgerableness, it was in Toledo. I had cooked a big Chinese dinner for th gang, which took about 3 1/2 hours of prep & 1 hour of cooking tim e on my sis’ wok. So, some body on Thursday late comes up with the idea of burgers on Sat. I jump to the chance to offer the smashies. Didn’t know what shape her grill was in (not the best & needed about 2hours of cleaning. Then the problem of a griddle. The one thing the Pit reinforces or teaches is to adapt and/or improvise. Sis said “ya I got a griddle somewhere in the garage from camping. Eh, eh, eh! It was a rusty mess. Vinegar, a wire brush & baking soda & an hour
or two I had into shape & seasoned it Fri evening. It was not a walk in the park. So, when Saturday rolled around I hand delivered each & every one of the burgers to each one including the little ones. They loved it @ I had a fabulous time. When I sat down I had a triple, cuz I was servin singles to the kids &’had one pattie extra. They looked at me cuz I was the last one to eat & I had a TRIPLE.
