On the travel post of a couple of days ago I mentioned that I would be cookin for fam & it would be smash burgers. If ya haven’t done it or it’s been awhile, git er done, again. There were twelve, 5 whom were kids. Every body loved em, as usual. I don’t do anything special & there is no calculating as in exact weights. I just grab some ground chuck & roll it into a ball as for a regular hamburger, which comes to approx 1/3lb, put em on a tray & cut em in half & smash em. Use Merican cheese, sorry you purists & put em on a brioche bun. No pics, cuz again nothin special, but this…………from an eight year old, my nieces daughter, I guess that makes her my grand niece. Her name is Abby, & she did something better than a Michelin star:

Gear: 26" Weber Kettle and Pit Barrel Cooker
Accessories: Spider Venom fan, and SnS Temp probes.
I enjoy cooking ribs (pork or beef), pork belly, brisket, burgers, ribeyes, chicken (usually boneless/skinless thighs), and skirt steak for carne asada.
Beverages - Alcohol isn't my jam.
Love this! Reminds me that my youngest son (currently 7) wrote a hit single "I love my Dad's Ribs" on his toy keyboard. They call my wife the "Burger Queen" since she makes the burgers (I just grill them)!

A hit single Lovin My Dad’s Wibs, yessir!

True story - my 30 year old daughter had a keyboard at your son’s age but used to have hit songs like "my dad’s so ugly" and "my brother is so dumb". We used to laugh so hard that it fostered much more or it. She was smart enough not to ridicule her mom in song.
