    Bourbon pecan pie

    I’m looking for trusted recipes on a bourbon pecan pie. Depth in layers of flavors a plus

    Well, I mean I’m no expert at pie makin, but it sounds like to me ya make a pecan pie & douse it with a splash or two of bourbon, yessir.
    Layers ya want. Splash Er top & bottom.

        Yup, can do, when I find th time, Brother.

        I always has me a Plan B, C, an D handy, at least, on accounta Life can sometimes fluctuate...

        P.S. Pro Tip: If'n/when I whup up my own, I toss in a lil dab/smidge of vanilla extract.

        Cinnamon an nutmeg optional, dependin on intended target...

        I've done this one https://www.seriouseats.com/how-to-m...-pie-slideshow and I think you could add 1/4c of bourbon to the filling, perhaps reducing liquid a bit by eliminating an egg whites

        On second thought... I'd soak the crushed pecans in the bourbon, THEN add it all.

          What is you baked it on a pit/grill? That would add a layer of smokiness to the other flavors.
