I am trying a roasting chicken on a weber gourmet poultry chicken roaster. Kind Iof a beer can style rig I got it on sale at homedepot for 9 bucks so I thought I would give it a try. Any one else try one of these? I know a lot of people like to spatchcock instead but I like the looks of a whole bird.

I currently have 4 grills 2 gas (Weber spirit 700 and Weber 1000) 2 charcoal (Weber master touch 22 and PK360). I also have a cast iron hibachi and a joule Sous vide. I have multiple probe thermometers , MK4, Smoke, 2 chef alarm, ThermaQ and thermaK and a thermoworks IR with K probe port. for knives I love my Messermeister Olive elite and my TojironDP Gyutou. which I keep razor sharp using my edge-pro. I also have a weather station to keep an eye on good Grilling weather.

Yep, I'm really a spatchcocked guy myself. But I do like a good BC chicken at times. I don't have this weber roaster but they are all kinda the same really. This one does look good though. Guess I have never seen one at my HD or Lowes! Like EdF said... I cook at 350 for my birds. Soggy skin otherwise. I use the fire ring of death method.

Amajeff99, I don't have the Same Weber Device but I recently Purchased a Steven Raichlen Vertical Chicken Holder with a Large Spice Shaker for the Beer or â“ I have only used it once (Last Sunday) for a Turkey Breast! It Worked Great inspite of the fact I had a Problem with the Fan on My Temp Cont'r!
