    Beef filet trimmings?

Bought a whole beef tenderloin today and usually have the butcher grind the trimmings into burger, but the grinder was down. So I just had them package up the trimming. Any suggestions on what to do with them other than grind it myself ( I do have a grinder) just curious if there is another good use other than burgers. Even though I absolutely love my filet burgers! I’ve made green chile stew with trimmings, you could do any kind of stew I suppose as well.

    That’s one idea at least.

Along th stew theme, chili comes to mind...

Then again, fer me, it always does...

They would make an excellent stir fry. Think pepper steak, but there are a lot of Chinese recipes that call for bite sized pieces of beef.

RonB, I was also thinking of stir fry. Then again, I'm always thinking of stir fry.

That's the first thing that came to my mind.

Beef Love from the rendered leftover fat. Stir fry in some of that.

Rough chop it up and make steak subs. This is what I do with the tenderloin trimmings after I break one down.
