Beef Brazilian Roast?

Any thoughts on what cut of beef this might be? They won’t know there. They are not too knowledgeable.

Normally it would be top sirloin cap also known as picanha or coulette, and a few other names containing the word rump. Unfortunately it appears they have removed the fat cap which is my favorite bite.

That's it, funny the pic in the ad wasn't even close !
There's a Brazilian community here in SD, one of the Brazilian guys at Costco Biz meat dept said that when Von's on Midway advertises sirloin on sale, they'll leave the fat cap on some of it for those who want picanha (And is pretty cheap ! )
Awesome, though involves eating a lot of fat. Maybe try to have a smaller portion, if you can resist ?
Not been to a churrascaria in ages, guess I'm overdue. Maybe some day when things open up.Last edited by zzdocxx; August 23, 2020, 09:15 PM.
