new york steak on a AOG (cheaper fire magic) natural gas grill
I was all set to cook on the Pit Barrel and the wife insists on using the newer AOG. I haven't done steaks on the grill yet and needed some tips. I used to sear first on my old weber, but use the reverse sear when using the PBC; any hints?

I have grill grates on my gasser. If thick enough I place the steaks on the warming rack on the opposite end from the lit burner. Then sear like crazy when they are ready.
