Are the cables wrapped in foil?

Yes they are Dew and I had some of that food grade gasket sealer left so I took a toothpick in put it where the cable enters the probe to keep the moisture out. So far it's working good.

Once you get that fine looking hunk of beef finished what are going to do with it? Slice it? Pull it? I've never smoked a chuck roast before.

Dang, I went into a panic mode bc the thermapen wasn't working. Rush to the store to get batteries and didn't know the thermapen had two batteries so I only put one in it and it still didn't work so when I took the battery back out that's when I notice it had another battery. The thermapen is now working and my heart rate went down.

                    Our Favorite Backyard Smoker

The amazing Karubecue is the most innovative smoker in the world. The quality of meat from this machine is astonishing. At its crux is a patented firebox that burns logs above the cooking chamber and sucks heat and extremely clean blue smoke into the thermostat controlled oven. It is our favorite smoker, period.
