    Yep - them are good cuts, cooked good, and seared proper. Congrats. That is my favorite hunk of meat. And happy anniversary to you both - I passed 31 this month.

      Thanks for the comments guys. Had so much fun that day. Was a total experiment from the start, but I had the spirit and inspiration of my brother-in-law with me the whole time. And for the record I have NEVER owned a gas grill.

          And yes - where else would one drill holes in steak bones but in the kitchen? I sure don't want to make a mess on my drill press out in the garage!

            Happy Anniversaries , Bob's BBQ and Smokey Tim . What a great dinner for 4. Those steaks are picture perfect.

            The libations are pretty tasty looking as well.

              The Redemption High Rye was a great find by my brother-in-law. That was the smoothest whiskey I have had to date. He really does his research on it.
