I was clueless when I saw the thread title and thought you were bragging about how tender your pot roast is.

Dan, I hope you're home with your sweet wife Eunice soon! Healing requires more patience than most of us have. Ask me how I know.

With your magnetic personality and wonderful sense of humor, I'll bet you're the hit of the rehab center. Surely every worker there makes an excuse to drop in and chat with you.

Best wishes to you, and I hope you heal quickly.

I know the feeling Dan. A year & a half ago (heart) & two yrs prior to that (spine), I had a month long stay in a hospital. The food was ok, but the menu over a month haul was limited. It got to a point where the last week each time, I was looking forward to PBJ sandwiches. Hope yer out soon, then that beef will be a lot better. Hey, what’s the deal with no veggies? What did your mama teach you? 🤠 👍

Holy crap Dan. When did this happen?
I had no idea you got yourself messed up.

It’s great to see that you are still your old self.
Enjoy that fine cuisine until you can get back on your way. 🤮

                      • Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.

Dan, my friend, get well soon and hope you are all heal up before Christmas.

Get well quick young feller! Just cause it's winter is no reason to hole up and let someone else do all the cooking for you... The more you move, the faster you'll heal. That is assuming you don't fall on your "ash" again! Be careful! Hope you're home for Christmas!
