I probably cook a whole packer brisket 3-4x/yr. However, I usually do 2 at time because of the time they take and I can save one for freezing or take to my office. I have a couple of nurses who are absolute fiends for brisket and pimento cheese. Everyone is happy and they deserve the time and energy for sure.

Pretty much never. There's only three of us, and we prefer fresh off the smoker as opposed to re-heat. Several times this year we've got a whole packer, separated the point for smoking and used the flat for pastrami. Twice (I think) also cured the point for corned beef just for a change.

Probably average buying 2. This year I’ve already bought two and will probably get a third for Thanksgiving. I don’t always smoke a whole packer though. I like to break it down and make corned beef for St Paddy’s. Depending on how many we are for thanksgiving I might just smoke the flat and keep the point for tacos or something.
Honestly I prefer making beef cheeks bc it’s way easier and you can make as much or as little as you choose. Sacrilege I know, but I prefer beef cheeks to brisket.

Neither of these briskets (16lber, 18lber) had that crap lump of extra muscle on the Point. I removed the points. They get smoked Saturday starting 1345hrs. I have to play the temp game so that they get done not too long after 0209hrs but not before.
