I do a chuck pot roast a few times a year. Comfort food for a cold day. I thicken the juices into gravy and serve with dinner rolls.

Someone on here made a roast recently, it reminded me when my mom would make crock pot roasts when I was a kid. They were excellent!
my wife made an Instapot roast a few weeks back that was awesome, and I think it took 2 hours! I made a joke about her using the Instapot and not one of the Dutch ovens…..she didn’t think it was funny - and then the results were perfect!
so, I say you keep on with the crock pot! Heck! Make some crock pot queso this weekend as well!

We have a crock pot and use it often. It works well for 2 working people. You can put the meal on in the morning and it is done when you get home from work. ( Not that I go to the office anymore....)
