        I tend to sauce about 50% of the time on pork, hardly ever on beef, and sometimes on chicken ... but only when in the mood for some Alabama white sauce. If the OP poll had "some of the time" as a choice, I would have voted ... because the other two choices are too far from the case in my world.

        When I do ribs I will do at least 2 racks, one will have rub and the other will have salt & pepper and sauce, pulled pork get served plain and you put what you want on it. brisket gets rub only and chicken is either sauced or marinated.

          I usually don't sauce because the family likes different sauces. When reheating from frozen we often add sauce.

            Ribs: Rarely
            Pulled Pork: Usually
            Chicken: Depends on the initial taste test

              I like to sauce ribs with Amazing Glaze finishing sauce by The Slabs

              I like a very small amount of a Blues Hog Tennessee Red on my pulled pork

              I like sliced pork shoulder with no sauce, or maybe with some of the drippings from the crutch foil.
