Post and replies I can't access, did I say something wrong?

Got a post I don't remember the gist of but it keeps coming up with the search engine can't find it. What to do now?

Typically, in my experience, that happens when a comment on a post has been deleted.

This is correct. The post or comment was most likely deleted.

Don't know how you're doing the search, but if you hit "options" in the search box, then "more options" in the drop down, there's a whole crap load (technical term) of filtering options that might help you find what you're looking for (assuming that it still exists as others have noted).

ecowper That's just an approximation, the actual number is 602,214,141,070,409,084,099,072 crap loads per crap ton.

    Delete, delete, don't repeat,
I posted a post I thought so sweet,
But it smells worse than my feet,
Not to offend I should remember,
Crash and burn into an ember,
To delete, delete, I will not repeat

You earn a star on your forehead and a cold PBR for that bit of eloquence !!!

You can also try a google search on this site, like this:

    Example: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...mazingribs.com

Recently a member posted a topic and he made a typo in it, so he re-posted the same topic again, corrected. We deleted the old one since it was an outdated duplicate. This is an example of where a notification that you may have received would point you to an 'Oops! Error, this doesn't exist' page when you click it. If you go to your notifications, and select Filter, then 'Dismissed" or "Both", you can see old notifications. This might help you find who posted what you wnated to see by clicking their username and checking out their posts. Perhaps, if they reposted something, as in the example case above, you could track it down this way.

A big part of this site is our unbiased equipment and product reviews. We love playing with toys and we have no problem calling them the way we see them. Some companies pay a finder’s fee if a reader clicks a link on AmazingRibs.com and buys a product. It has zero impact on our reviews, zero impact on the price you pay, and the sites never tell us what you bought, but it has a major impact on our ability to keep this site alive! The Cool Kettle With The Hinged Hood We Always Wanted

Napoleon’s 22″ Pro Cart Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It’s hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the 22″ Pro Cart a viable alternative.

Grilla Pellet Smoker proves good things come in small packages

We always liked Grilla. The small 31.5″ x 29.5″ footprint makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, as on a condo patio.

Comprehensive Temperature Magnet With 80+ Important Temps

      Amazingribs.com temperature magnet
Winner of the National BBQ Association’s product of the year award. This 8.5″ x 11″ magnet contains more that 80 benchmark temperatures for meats (both USDA recommended temps as well as the temps chefs recommend), fats and oils, sugars, sous vide, eggs, collagens, wood combustion, breads, and more. Although it is not certified as all-weather, we have tested it outdoors in Chicago weather and it has not delaminated in three years, but there is minor fading.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.
