    Tired of the same smoked baby back ribs? Add a surprise depth of flavor by curing the ribs before smoking, to create what we call bacon ribs. Tastes like bacon, chews like ribs!

    One of (if not my favorite BBQ joint ZZQ in Richmond, Va.) does a version of Bacon Ribs as one of their Sunday Specials...

    They cure bone-in pork belly (spare ribs with the belly still attached) in their bacon cure and then use a brown sugar Texas rub. Then they are smoked and before coming off the smoker are glazed with a Bourbon Mable Glaze...They are served with a side of warm Bourbon Maple Glaze...one of the best BBQ items I have ever had...

        randy.56 I just saw they mentioned the SL version in that post earlier today. I might be even more inclined to try it now.

                            I tried a similar rib smoke last week and it was really good but missing something. This sounds better so it's on my list . Thank you !
