    Pink Lemonade Pie

    One of my wife’s specialties for an excellent hot summer dessert! Love this Pink Lemonade Pie - nice and cool with it being frozen along with the tang from the lemonade and sweetness of the cool whip and condensed milk.

    Ingredients:

    1 Graham Cracker Crust pie (or make your own with a few packs of graham crackers and 2 TBS of melted butter)
    1 can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
    1 6oz can frozen pink lemonade
    1 9oz tub of Cool Whip whipping cream

    Directions:

    Mix condensed milk, lemonade and cool whip together. Pour into crust and freeze until ready to serve. Should be easy to cut and serve with it being frozen. And if you make your own pie crust, blend up the graham crackers and mix in melted butter. Press into a pie plate and freeze while you are getting the remainder of the ingredients together.

      childhood memories? This is from my wife’s grandmother. I don’t know if this was something we ate growing up, but man I know it’s loved in West Texas!

      barelfly no, my mom made her own flour based crusts which I did not prefer as much as a graham cracker. I live alone. Picture a miniature Daffy Duck hugging a pearl screaming, "Mine Mine All Mine!!!"

      I think after all the stick burners you are building in that hot sun….this would just about be a perfect snack after those long builds for you!

    Have you tried this with regular whipped cream?

      Are you talking about home made whipped cream? No we haven’t. I’m sure it would work though.

      The aerosol whipped cream? I don’t know if that would or not? That always seems lighter and melts pretty quick. But maybe it would set up in the freezer fine?
