I'm so close to done, I can almost taste it. Today I got the lights put up, the plumbing done, the electricity turned on and all but the last 2 deck boards in. The lights work (YAY!) (so do the outlets 😁) The plumbing doesn't leak. I might even get some cookers up there by the weekend.

Here's the light post with my shop made cap (you can see that the lights work):

Here's the stub out for the sink. The waste pipe isn't installed yet:

And here's the hookup for my firehose:

On deck outlet box - there is one in each of the 3 corners other than where the door is:

And here's the view from the door out toward the barbecue area:

Really looks good! The quality of this job is really outstanding. I was noticing how square and precise the gaps and cuts, etc. are. 👍👍

Panhead John - That's very nice of you to say. I'm doing my best. Of course, I see every flaw and blemish. That said, I'm pretty happy the way it is turning out. More importantly, so is Barbara. 😝

Here's a picture of what gets illuminated by the lights. It's actually brighter, when you are out there in the corner, than it appears in the photo. My offset will be along the far side to the let of the light post. My gas grill will be along the right edge.

So, most of the boards are not fully screwed down, yet, but here's the "completed" deck:

And here's the sink waste plumbing. It's tied into the sump pump drain which carries the water out to a dry well under the deck:

I finally got all the screws driven in the cooking area side of the deck so I decided to get my cookers up there. The tandoor isn't there yet because I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with it.
