Ah, okay. I'm considering a low retaining wall on one side and a higher one on the back side. But now I'll have to consider metal edging. How tall is the metal and how deep did you bury it?

Looks great. When it's compacted can you use a blower to clear it of leaves without losing the granite?

I think the edging is 4”. You can get them at Home Depot or Lowe’s. I tried to make everything about 4”. Some were deeper some a little less.

Raining --- so the Yoder 640 , the Blackstone grill and Weber are covered. You can see that the gutter is missing.

The idea was to blend it in as if it was originally part of the house and aI think that has been accomplished well. Here you can see the most expensive part...replacing all the concrete patios and around the pool with travertine and putting in those LEDs at the step down from the patio...

Originally I had all my stuff piled up on the patio. Now the spousal unit has her patio back. Of course I had to get it all refinished...to match my gear.

Sidewalk had to be unobstructed... I will add a few bar chairs. The grey thing is storage and on the right is the grill.
Another design objective was not to obscure the view from inside the house and that has been done very well.

I guess I am going to need a better chair for me as well! Went with cedar on the posts instead of matching the house to make it less visible from inside.

Here is my newly completed outdoor kitchen. The centerpiece is the Primo XL 400. Twin Eagles gas grill and Breakfast Club, ice machine, double drawer fridge, Drink well in curved bar, Hot/cold water and garbage disposal. I am pretty much self contained to do what I need to do outdoors. I'm very happy with how everything turned out.

RonB thanks! I'd like to take credit for the sign but it was made by a local artisan who sells her wares at a local farmer's market. I was a courseware author for Microsoft in a past life and am therefore kind of anal about grammar so I was really glad to see the apostrophe in "Paul's" or I wouldn't have been able to look at the sign. :-)

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

                the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is a charcoal grill with an offset smoke chamber attached. It is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. The grill sits low in front and doubles as a firebox for the smoke chamber which is spliced on above and behind so it can work like a horizontal offset smoker only better. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

                Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker

Griddle And Deep Fryer All In One

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all. Plus it has a built in cutting board, garbage bag holder, and paper towel holder. An additional work table on the left side provides plenty of counter space.
