- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
One day I would love to make one of these Meat Up's, and this one is "just" an 8 hour drive away! However, my lovely bride and I will be in Rome or on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean, or in Greece, Turkey, Crete, Cypres, etc, or in the air between here and Rome from October 10th to 24th.

jfmorris One thing that surprised me when I moved to Lafayette was the number of folks who were decedents of Lebanese immigrants. That's reflected to some degree in the local restaurant scene. We have a Turkish restaurant (Baba Kabab), Athena's Greek & Lebanese Food, and a bunch of Zeus (Greek) restaurants. There is also a pretty good Cuban restaurant near the Cajundome and a Spanish tapas place downtown.
