At the recommendation of our extremely well prepared host WayneT and his wonderful bride we all ate at Pancho Villas last night. The salsa was really good, the ceviche was just as good as anything I've had in Mexico, and the Ensanada style fish tacos were great (just too much stuff on them for what I consider authentic). Fantastic venue and staff with some great company.

The staff here at the Hampton has been stellar. All attendees have bragged on all aspects of the accommodations. Nothing is too good for my Pit friends!

Decent BBQ, not a fan of saucey que but for NC it was definitely a good value, 29 bucks for all this and its honestly the first decent brisket (even swimming in sauce) that Ive had in NC.

To cap off the night, a good meal at Village Tavern. All the food was great, and the only complaint I had was the price was a bit high but I'd eat there again in a heartbeat regardless. Great venue, great staff, and fantastic company

I had the prime rib tonight at The Village Tavern, very good! We had a lot of fun tonight, everyone was here and we all enjoyed the food, as well as excellent service! Most of the waitresses kept coming by, trying to hit on me, but I was steadfast in refusing their sexual advances. I didn’t want the others in our group to suffer from slow service.

Talk about controlled chaos….The Village Tavern was packed tonight! Almost every seat was taken….this is what a well oiled machine looks like…..

They were hustling with no wasted moves. It was fun to watch them for a minute.

That is Guillermo on the grill, the man singly responsible for all the steaks and chops being cooked to perfection. Michelle and Brie were our wait staff and they were spectacular, extremely cool and composed under pressure. They did confide in me that one flirtatious dude from TX was never invited back.
