Steve R. the leg broke of my son’s 26” Weber, so I am building him a table for his birthday. I didn’t see the handle on your Weber 26” bowl. Did you remove it? If so how?

I cut my handle off with an angle grinder. I ground it down just short of being flush to the bowl, so as to not damage the porcelain any more than necessary.

Same here. Just ground off the handle with the angle grinder.

Big Green Egg has directions for assembling the modules of their table which is made almost entirely out of 1x4s. Currently my plan to built a cart for my son’s 26” is to adjust the size of the modules and use the Unknown BBQ brackets to mount the 26” Weber. If the cost lumber is through the roof, I may default to Steve R. plan.

Strong work! You could probably make some money doing that. I'd buy one if available.

I see used stainless steel restaurant kitchen stuff on sale all the time, I just don't have the tools for that kind of project.

So, I wrote to Weber asking about a 26" Performer. Here's their response. Can Max Good or someone else with influence talk to them, share our members' attempts?

Do you have any plans to make a 26" Performance? I am a member of Amazing Ribs, and folks are modifying stainless steel food service tables to insert their 26" Webers with legs removed. We all think there would be a significant market fora 26" on a cart. Thank you,
            Daniel Pepper

I'll let them know, but I imagine their market research dictates new product development.

Thanks Max. Of course, we think AR should dictate their development choices, but what do I know!
