It may be big but it's not too big. No one ever complained about too much cooker space.

No way you can put a 20+ pound, spatchcocked, turkey on the WSM 18.5 ....

Every so often I think I should have bought the 18.5 instead of the 22.5 .... and then I cook a brisket or a turkey or lay 3 racks of ribs flat on the top grate and I stop thinking the smaller WSM would be better :-)
