Trying to identify this model of Hasty Bake Oven/Grill
I recently acquired this Hasty Bake Grill / Oven and can't seem to identify the model. It doesn't have a metal tag with all the info on it like Ai has been telling me to look for. It has a heating element built into the lid / hood. Ai seems to think it is a rare, short production run model that was never mass produced?
You might try taking a picture of it with Google Images and see if it can help. I’ve used it several times and found it to be very accurate for the most part.
Okay, imge search and a little AI analysis of the photo:
“This vintage advertisement showcases the Hasty Bake Master-Bake portable barbecue oven, which was assigned Model Number 366 (often referred to as the Camper or portable model series)”
“Dual-Fuel Utility: It was uniquely marketed for its versatility, allowing users to cook using traditional charcoal or fast, convenient electricity.Compact Portability: The appliance featured short, folding legs and a compact "suitcase style" build so it could easily be packed into a vehicle for camping trips.”
Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
Kinda an interesting selling point there..... buy the grill when you have an apartment, and it can follow you to your house and then be used with charcoal.
