Got my son a griddle for his Weber Genesis and he loves it! I have had the Weber Summit Charcoal Grill Center for seven years and I love it. Go for the E6.

Learning the ropes on my Weber Kettle w SnS. char-griller grillin’ pro. LSG 20x42 offset ordered!
Ok so I’ve had the Slate for an about a week now, and I couldn’t be happier. It adds a whole new dimension to what I can cook. I have a number of cast iron and carbon steel pans, including a wok. But the flat top is a game changer. I was torn between this and the traeger flatrock, but the grease trap location and overall feel of them in person swayed me. I haven’t given up on my dreams of an E6, but for now my MCS is completely in remission. Thank you all so much for the input.
Here are a few action shots of a recent stir fry!

Learning the ropes on my Weber Kettle w SnS. char-griller grillin’ pro. LSG 20x42 offset ordered!
So I’ve had the griddle for over 6 months now, and I wanted to update y’all. It has become my most used outdoor cooking appliance. The griddle is so versatile, I’ve done breakfast tacos, pancakes, stir fry, fried rice, smash burger, hot dogs, and more! It’s so much fun to cook on. And my wife loves it because all the mess is outside and easy to clean. I’m very happy with my choice!
But as we know MCS is a severe problem in this forum. And my kettle is nearing the end of its life span. I’ve become friends with the guy selling the summit kamado. He never actually sold it. So I bought it just this week. All the accessories included. So now I get to play with that!
In turn he took that money and got a XXL Big green egg. So every body wins! Except my wallet haha.

I totally agree with the mess being outside and keeps the indoor kitchen clean. During our kitchen remodel, I took the camp stove with the flat top accessories out of the garage and set it up in my gazebo. Loved it. Now that we are back in the kitchen, I've kept the camp stove set up in the gazebo. More BTU, better surface area on the flat top, easy clean up....Don't know why I didn't do this before.
