So is a Taco a Sandwich?

I haven't had time to read all of the replies but one thing that comes to mind: does it matter if the bread is leavened (like what most of us make sandwiches with) or not? I can argue that tortillas, na'an, pita etc are flat breads but are still breads. But I personally differentiate them. sourdough or yeast types of bread that rise when baked are for sandwiches. Flat breads are for tacos, wraps, etc. but there is a very gray line here.

How about a grilled cheese with soft tacos as the buns?

What if you put a Sloppy Joe or Maid-Rite mixture in a taco shell?
Do you end up with a Sloppy Taco, Taco Joe or a Made-Wrong?

You should write a book called, "The Psychology of Food."

Would you rather take the insides of a sandwich and put them in a taco shell, or take the insides of a taco and put them between two slices of bread?
