Once again my neighbor and I held our annual cider pressing. Not as many small ones this year because it is the week before Halloween and there were a lot of activities in town relating to things like pumpkin carving and decorating. Our local town of Berlin and its residents always go all out for Halloween. Still nice turnout and we oldsters all probably had to take more turns on the crank duty than we would have liked. Still a good way to spend time with old and new friends.
Just finished up cleaning after our evening chili and apple pie dinner we throw for the adults. Met the new families who recently built new houses and then moved into the neighborhood. And, two attendees drove 7 hours from Ithaca NY, and one took a train from Florida just to attend. I guess the event is getting famous!
