Just tried Meathead's asparagus recipe except that yesterday was an all-inside cook on my new cast iron skillet. The balsamic syrup, the fancy olive oil, and the cheese curls made for a very fancy presentation and a very nice flavor, both my wife and my young daughter ate most of them up before I could even try!
I didn't snap a picture in time, but we only cooked half the bunch - I'll be quicker next time. Perfect accompaniment to salmon, and really made the meal seem much fancier than the half hour (total) of cooking might lead one to think.
