    Yakima Valley grass. $2.25/lb at Fruit City, in Union Gap. IMO best local stand. Grocery more like 3.55.
    The boys let you select from open boxes. Easy to get uniform sizes for your grill.
    MH's recently posted recipe here for grilled grass is excellent.

    Be awhile before we see any fresh Speraguss round here. The trees are just now poppin with buds.
    BTW, I am back in cheese land packin to leave.

    Way back in my corporate days I worked out of the Tri Cities and traveled all over Central Washington. So much fresh fruit and vegs. In your neck of the woods plenty of hops. Later when transferred to Seattle I got to call on customers in SE Alaska. Each trip ended with a cold box full of crab and halibut. Ah, those were the days.
